PWA Title History: 2007 Most Improved Wrestler

Lucas Drago has seen quite the metamorphosis in his short career with the PWA. Initially brought in as a bodyguard for Phoenix Taylor, Drago next found himself allied with Drew Dalby as the first client of Team Esteem. The partnership paid instant dividends for Drago, who captured a guaranteed title shot at Night of Champions V in the Team Boris vs Team Dalby 10 man tag despite his own teammate, Gama Singh Jr, conspiring against him. Drago would challenge for the Mayhem title that summer in a thrilling falls count anywhere match with Marky Mark, and cashed in his guaranteed title shot against Juggernaut in the fall of 2006, falling just short of capturing the Heavyweight title. After splitting ties with Dalby, Drago severely injured his back and neck in a match with Ravenous Randy, making many fear his PWA career was going to be cut short. But after extensive rehabilitation, Drago has returned, and looks to reassert himself in the PWA ring.
