When you think of superstars that beat to the sound of their own drum, Ravenous Randy is definitely one that comes to mind. Decked out in outlandish tights, Converse shoes, and of course, a giant mohawk, Randy turns heads no matter where he goes. Having joined the PWA in 2004, Myers has cemented his roles as one of the most memorable performers and popular superstars in the company’s history. Myers first captured the attention of Duke Durrango’s Damage Incorporated, who recruited the young superstar into their fold to battle the likes of the Funky Bunch and the Stampede Bulldogs. Following Damage Inc.’s dissolution, Myers set out on his own before teaming with Michael Avery to form the bizarrely named “Nickelodeon Presents: Jimmy Fallon’s Super Space Calypso in 3-D”. The team quickly found success, capturing tag team gold from the Karachi Vice in only their second match as a team, and went on to hold the belts for 8 months. Upon losing the titles to Juggernaut and Tex Gaines, the Calypso imploded, setting off a bitter feud that was capped off by a memorable casket match at Fright Night 2007 in which Ravenous Randy found himself locked in the casket. The experience set the Ravenous One off the deep end, and made him more dangerous than ever, leading to defeating Phoenix Taylor for the Mayhem Title at the 7th Anniversary show in March 2008. Myers would lose the belt but reclaim it again at Night of Champions 2009, defeating Chris Steele. One thing is for certain, the fans know that when they see Myers on the card, they’re in for a treat, courtesy of the man who always “rocks the hawk.”
