Founded in 2001, the Prairie Wrestling Alliance has endeavoured to bring the best wrestling action to Western Canada, giving their loyal fanbase great memories and countless nights of treasured moments.
The PWA has featured some of the hottest names in our industry, from modern-day superstars such as AJ Styles, Christian, and Samoa Joe, to legendary warriors such as Abdullah the Butcher, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart and Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake.
In addition, the PWA has been a proving ground for superstars en route to global companies such as WWE and TNA. PWA Hall of Famer “Hotshot” Johnny Devine was a PWA mainstay prior to becoming a future X-Division Champion in TNA Wrestling, while Nattie Neidhart and the Stampede Bulldogs had a storied run and many classic matches in PWA before taking the WWE by storm as the Hart Dynasty.
In late 2009, the PWA added international wrestling star Lance Storm to the front office, and alongside co-owners Kurt Sorochan and Don Ferguson, 2010 and the future look bright for the number one wrestling company in Western Canada!
